ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,962,211 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 4 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,962,211 Covid-19 cases, this includes 305,628 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,263,433 people (144,102 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,855,819 people (51,586 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,767,044 people (31,560 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,235,576 people (21,750 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,778,976 people (33,021 deaths)
- Myanmar: 531,155 people (19,277 deaths)
- Singapore: 280,754 people (829 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,516 people (3,014 deaths)
- Laos: 113,432 people (391 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,506 people (98 deaths)
